My purpose in life is to uplift the lives of those around me. I believe that “a rising tide lifts all boats,” and in my career my purpose is to rise the tide. My mother instilled in me the value of seeing the best in people and encouraging their strengths to help them become even better. Again, rising the tide.

I cherish time with my kids and watching them figure things out. This has inspired me to do the same – to let things go, be more open and try new things. In this way, they have helped me as a leader.

I’ve learned, through them, to balance my life and that meaningful relationships are essential in business and in life. Maine Course allows me to do this.
