Jim Prentiss

My purpose is to be better as a leader, but I have also worked hard my whole life: fitness, diet, mindfulness, and relationships. Spending quality time with family and friends makes me a better leader. It was important to align my personal values with a company of like-minded people. Maine Course is that place.

I’ve always enjoyed competitiveness in work, sports, and, of course, my quest to have the best lawn in the neighborhood! All of this has translated well into my career. Give me a year, and I’ll make the Homewood lawn the best in Portland.

I used to admire the MCHG Culture from away.  I always joked that I was just waiting for the call. I got it, and I feel honored to be part of the MCHG Family. My family was always there for me. My family has just grown.
