CHRIS EASLEY

Director of Talent Management

Making people happy, makes me happy.

I like to say I live by a blend of the Hippocratic Oath, the Serenity Prayer, and a little Milton Berle: first, do no harm (to myself or others), have the courage to make things better, the grace to accept what I can’t change, and the wisdom to know the difference. I believe in using my skills—some innate, some hard-won—to lift others up, whether they’re family, friends, coworkers, or complete strangers. And, I’m also a firm believer in the healing powers of a good meal, a well-timed joke, and the unconditional love of a dog.

I started working by bagging groceries, then moved to counseling, and finally to hospitality. No matter the setting, I’ve always believed that making people happy is what I was put here to do. At MCHG, I get to do that daily as Corporate Director of Talent Management, supporting our mission of “Positively Impacting Lives.” It’s a mission that feels like home to me.

Outside of work, I enjoy my family, food, and fun. I’ve been lucky enough to be married to my amazing wife, Imelda, for over 25 years. Between us, we have two wonderful children, four grandkids, and Cisco, our 14-year-old dog who runs the house. I love cooking (and eating), watching great TV and movies, and getting lost in a good book. Most days, I’m just trying to live up to the version of me that my dog Cisco thinks I am.
