Nate DORR

After spending several years working in front-of-house hospitality roles, I realized how important it is for associates to feel supported, valued, and connected to meaningful resources through their employer. That’s a big part of what drew me to Human Resources and why my role with Maine Course Hospitality Group holds such a special place in my heart. 

What I love most about MCHG is that its core values are more than just words. They are reflected in the work our associates do every day. Being part of an organization whose mission is to positively impact lives inspires me to bring my best self to work each day and encourages me to do the same in my personal life. I am fortunate to work alongside an incredible team of leaders and associates who teach me something new every day, reminding me that there is always an opportunity to learn and grow. 

 Much of my motivation to grow and strive for excellence comes from my biggest supporter and partner in crime, my spouse, who encourages me to be the best version of myself both professionally and personally. Outside of work, I’m a bit of a serial hobbyist. Whether it’s crocheting, quilting, painting, or exploring the latest crafting trend, I enjoy keeping my creativity busy. I also love baking. With my original professional training in Baking and Pastry, it’s a passion I still enjoy sharing with friends, family, and neighbors through homemade treats.
