For Immediate Release
Bangor, ME. September 19, 2013 Maine Course Hospitality Group and its investors began construction on the TownePlace Suites by Marriott on Sylvan Road in Bangor, Me. The 82-suite hotel is expected to open during the summer of 2013. The location will compliment the existing Courtyard by Marriott next door and is Bangor’s only extended stay hotel. The hotel provides functional space for living and working, helping guests keep their routine and settle into the neighborhood.
This all-suite hotel features studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites, with kitchens. An indoor pool & fitness room, free breakfast, business center and meeting room add to the appeal of this extended stay hotel. There will be an “Inn a Pinch” market where guests can purchase snacks & sundries. Because of its location just off I95 and near Eastern Maine Medical Center and multiple colleges, this hotel provides conveniences along with the comforts of home.
“We are pleased to introduce the TownePlace Suites brand to the Bangor area,” said Loren Nalewanski, vice president and global brand manager, TownePlace Suites. “Providing an upscale residential atmosphere, this TownePlace Suites hotel offers an appealing alternative to more standard hotel rooms designed for shorter stays.”
The Freeport-based Maine Course Hospitality Group operates 12 hotels throughout New England including six Marriott and four Hilton branded hotels and two independent boutique hotels.
