“You can design and create and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality. -Walt Disney

About 25 years ago, if you had asked me my purpose in life, I probably would’ve said something like, “to be a household name”—confident, a little arrogant, and definitely ambitious. Fast forward to today, and my answer is a lot more grounded (and a lot more meaningful). Along the way, I’ve learned that leadership isn’t about titles. It’s about how you treat people, how you serve your community, and how you care for the world around you.
Travel has become one of my favorite “secret weapons” in hospitality. My family and I have explored 33 states, 11 National Parks, and 6 countries, and every trip turns into a bit of a learning experience. I’m constantly picking up ideas—those little guest experience wins—that I can bring back and make even better for our own guests.
When I’m not at the hotel, you’ll probably find me on the road with my family or deeply involved in the community. Giving back isn’t just something I do, but it’s part of who I am. My biggest motivation? My daughter. She keeps me on my toes, asks great questions, and expects me to lead by example—which I take seriously (and, honestly, it makes me better every day).
